Christmas 2005

I’ve been slacking a bit on Christmas letters the last couple of years. Blame it on the stress of being a single mom with four kids. Seems we have something going on every minute of every day. What I wouldn’t do to be “bored” for a bit.
This last year Taylor got confirmed and graduated 8th grade from Zion Lutheran School. I was so proud when he received the Outstanding Academic Achievement Award. He is now a freshman at Pierce High and is taller than me! And next year he will be able to drive me around!
The twins, Macy and Mallory, are complete opposites on everything from their appearance (Mallory is 3 inches taller and 10 pounds skinnier than Macy) to their behavior (those that know them well can attest to this!). They are in the 5th grade at Pierce Elementary and involved in soccer, dance, girl scouts, camps, everything I swear. Both girls just had their braces put on as well.
Poor Tatym not only inherited my looks, but my interstitial cystitis bladder problem as well. Surgery has not seemed to help her, so we are exploring taking her out-of-state to a specialist. She is in the second grade and hates being the youngest in her class (I felt the same way). She loves to read and perform magic tricks.
Our newest “addition” to the family was a new SV6. We took it on vacation with my mom and sister to Minnesota last summer and had a nice time at my aunt and uncle’s cabin on the lake and visiting Mall of America. The DVD player and On-Star were great assets on the trip.
My original hobby of “saving time and money online” has evolved into a corporation I named Key Internet Marketing, Inc. (notice the acronym), complete with KIM shares of stock. My travels for business (and some pleasure) have taken me to San Francisco, Las Vegas and New York City in the past year.
One of my goals has always been to build a new house. And I’ve realized I don’t need a husband to make that dream happen. I just bought a lot and hopefully next year’s greetings will be sent from a new address!
Here’s wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year!
Love, Kim and the Kids
