Back during highschool, I remember laying on a towel in the lawn wearing a bikini and reading Sassy Magazine (Remember that one?) to get a sun tan. Well, now that I have a trip to Vegas planned and my 15 year high school class reunion coming up, I am in dire need of a tan. And you won’t catch me wearing a bikini out in my lawn now, even if I do have wireless internet access on my laptop.
Does anyone actually sunbathe in the real sun anymore?! I decided to join the fake-bakers, and cheat and go to the salon. But it isn’t cheap! I couldn’t bring myself to pay $1 per minute, so picked the value package. I did pick the highest quality tanning bed so I wouldn’t have to lay still as long nor have to go as often. Seems I just lay there thinking of all the things I should be doing. Patience is a virtue, and I don’t possess much of it.
Speaking of Sassy, I still have the premiere issue. Maybe someday, I will post it on eBay and see if I score anything! Their former editor nows runs her own spunky magazine, Jane which I say is geared towards twenty-something single gals (not thirty-something divorced-with-four-kids gals)
