With my son now in high school, I only have to help three kids make out Valentine’s Day cards instead of four! A few years ago, I got umpteen packages of Valentine’s Day cards on clearance for 10¢ each that has lasted “forever” according to the girls. They were glad to see them all used up this year. Now I have to watch clearance sales this year to stock up again!
Unfortunately there is no stockpiling candy here. I’ve heard of people buying red Christmas candy on clearance to keep for Valentine’s Day, but candy gets eaten too fast around here. All of the neighbor kids know where the candy dish is.
