Our Kiwanis booth at the Home Show this past weekend was a success. In a joint effort with the State Patrol, we made ID cards for kids to the tune of over 200 of them! So we were busy taking pictures, measuring height, weighing, fingerprinting, etc. We also gave away books to promote literacy to children aged 0 - 5 years.
After an exhaustful weekend, my twins still wanted to go the Remedy Drive Christian Rock concert last night. The Lutheran youth group had raised money to bring them to town, so we only had to pay $2 admission. I would have paid more, as the band was extremely talented, and I enjoyed the music. I’m glad we went.
Now today is another busy, busy day. Just got back from the dentist’s office. Now I’m trying to figure out how I can take my youngest to movie night and be at the city council meeting at the same time!
