I finally found a foyer table that I liked and was affordable, at Target of all places! I was there yesterday with a friend and spotted the Mission Console Table on sale for only $80! Regularly $99.99. She didn’t have room in her car for me to purchase it then, so I came home hoping Target.com was offering Free Shipping. Which they are on thousands of other items, but not that particular one. I didn’t want to spend the $23 on shipping, so decided to trek back to the store today.
I grabbed the matching end table as well. They only had one in stock, so I will have to check back later if I decide on another. The pieces should match the furniture I ordered from Nebraska Furniture Mart nicely which is due to be delivered in a couple of weeks.
At checkout, I was offered an additional 10% off my purchase for applying for a Target Red Card. I’ve always turned them down thinking 10% wasn’t worth the hassle, but my bill was $150, so $15 off would have been nice. “It will only take a minute” they told me. I waited twenty minutes before the manager announces that the computer system is down. So, I didn’t get $15 off, just a $3 Apology Coupon off.
Off to put together my new table now…
